Matthew & Scott apply for a Marriage License

NORTHAMPTON, 16 NOV 2010 – Scott Maloney (42) and Matthew Toresen (48) applied for a civil marriage licence at Northampton Register Office at the The Guildhall in Northampton on Tuesday 16 November in a direct challenge to the UK’s legal ban on same-sex marriage. Their application was refused. The couple plan to take legal action in the courts to strike down the prohibition on gay marriages.

    Good luck with all the applications, and the legal challenge, we should have equal rights for all, and me and my wife can call our partnership a marriage, as indeed to us it is.
